Example — Artist with Band chooses Package 2A — with 1000 CD's... cost -$3785. He/She has written 10 songs already (music & lyrics). Artist chooses to have new arrangements written for 4 songs - $400. Artist pays fees for the copyright on songs - $600. Artist uses 3 additional Musicians ($50 each per song) on 3 songs for a different "feel" — $450. Artist pays for Shipping on CD's $110. Total Cost - $5,345 Artist sells CD's at concerts, churches, CD Baby, other websites. . .for $10 each = PROFIT of $4,655. If sold for $12 each = PROFIT of $6,655. This is money that can be used for the next CD, additional duplication, new equipment for the band, promotion, etc. You can easily make this a profitable venture if the Artist/Band are willing to work at it.
