Rick Flippin

Rick was born in Stuart, Virginia. He started singing in the church choir at the age of 5. He became proficient at the trumpet and played his first professional "gig" at the age of 11. He continued with the trumpet for over 20 years. He started his own bands known as "Soulsations", "Men of Distinction", Plain Truth", and "Mellow Madness". He was a member of the famous group "THE DIAMONDS" of 'Little Darlin' fame. He traveled the road and backed up many popular recording artists such as MARVIN GAYE, THE CARPENTERS, and CHUBBY CHECKER.

He finally tired of the road life and took up the piano playing with A & M Records artist KIM CHARLES for over 4 years. He then went back to college for Electrical Engineering Technology and married his lab partner. The couple have 4 children. He worked for Honeywell for 18 years and obtained his BA. in Business Management. Rick has been a member of Indian Rocks Christian Church for 14 years and helps weekly with the music department.

Rick has combined his talent and knowledge of Music, his love of the Lord and his good business sense to create a "state of the art" Music Studio and Record Label; PARADISE ACRES MUSIC STUDIO and NARROW DOOR RECORDS, INC.
